Customer Service / Showroom Sales
Lightology LLC, the premier contemporary lighting showroom in North America, is growing! We offer the widest selection of high-end domestic and imported lighting fixtures, lamps and lighting products in our 15,000 square foot showroom, located in the heart of Chicago’s River North gallery district.
As a Customer service/Showroom Sales Professional, you have a sincere love of working with people and possess high energy, enthusiasm, good organization and communication skills, a true sense of urgency, a second nature of problem solving and a great attitude. You will be adaptable to a warehouse environment as well as maintaining a rapport with casual to elite customers. Your local experience in working with trade professionals, i.e. interior designers, decorators, architects, contractors, developers and display houses is a must. Lighting background is a big plus. This position will be staffing our new outlet center set to open at Fullerton & Clybourn.
Our Ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Three + years of showroom sales or showroom customer service experience.
- Appreciation for design and decoration in residential homes and commercial buildings.
- Strong, goal oriented work ethic.
- Outgoing, energetic, enthusiastic, customer service focus.
- Excellent verbal & communication skills.
- Likes working with people and personable.
- Currently reside in the Chicago area.
