Five inch IC modular platform accepts fluorescent, low voltage halogen and line voltage incandescent lamps modules and elements. The platform is Air tight to prevent energy loss, room drafts, dust marks on ceilings and reduce sound transmission. Units may be used in direct contact with insulation and building products. A complete fixture requires three components a P-5 platform, a 5in Iris lamp module and a 5in Iris optical element.
