Five inch non-ic modular platform for use with narrow joist spacing that accepts fluorescent, low voltage halogen and line voltage incandescent lamps modules and elements. The platform is Air tight to prevent energy loss, room drafts, dust marks on ceilings and reduce sound transmission. Insulation must be kept 3in from fixture sides and top of fixture. A complete fixture requires three components a PN5 platform, a 5in Iris lamp module and a 5in Iris optical element.
