6-inch deluxe universal IC housing air-loc ready. Energy efficient sealed inner housing. Double wall housing construction. Can be completely covered with insulation. When used with air-loc gasket (see accessories), stops infiltration of air, reducing heating and air-cooling costs. Trims shown with air-loc symbol do not require a gasket. Lamp rating based on trim selected. Medium base porcelain with nickel-plated copper screw shell. Drop socket with spring to accommodate certain trim installation. U.L. Listed for through-branch wiring, damp locations and IP. Product thermally protected against improper use of lamps. Union made AFL-CIO. UL listed/CSA certified. Trims 20, 21, 22,240, 241, 242, 9000 and 9900 are wet location approved for covered ceiling applications. Trims 28, 29 are wet location approved for covered ceiling, must be used with outdoor rated lamps.
