Nancy Robbins

Nancy Robbins, born in Michigan, brought elegance to Spanish design. She arrived from the States after studying at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, and after working as an interior designer in Dallas and New York from 1964 to 1972 – the year she and her husband, the painter Edward Everett Robbins, travelled to the city of Girona.

In 1984, she moved to Barcelona, opened a furniture shop under her own name and presented herself in society as a designer. She also worked with Andreu World, with whom she has had a long-standing relationship which still continues to flourish.
