Nicolas Terzani

When Nicolas Terzani was born in 1974, his father, Sergio, had just launched a small Florence-based workshop crafting lamps of iron, wood and Murano glass in the archetypal Tuscan tradition. And as Nicolas grew, so did the business, building on a philosophy of tutto e’ luce, “everything is light.“ Now as president and creative director of Terzani USA, Nicolas carries on the family’s commitment to creating beautiful, hand-crafted luminaires while incorporating new technologies and materials into the mix. Thinking in terms of sculpture rather than mere lighting fixtures, the Terzani design process continues to celebrate artisanal craftsmanship and luxurious materials while embracing experimental methodologies.
