“I love the simple mid-century feel of the IC Wall/Ceiling from Flos. It has a decent scale to it and offers 75 watts of halogen light. This fixture looks great in a series going down a hallway or vestibule. It's also offered in table, floor and pendant versions.”

“Love how clean and modern the Confine looks.  The details are done well with the clear glass that looks as though it’s floating off the wall, and the frosted diffuser blocks any possible glare issues from the bulb.    It provides a lot of light but is still dimmable if too bright for your taste.”

“I have the recessed version of the Acension Medicine Cabinet in my own bathroom and love it! The light evenly distributes on your face for great make-up application or shaving. The additional defogger button is nice for when you get out of a hot shower. Plus the added storage bonus behind the mirror!”

“The Tresor from Terzani is really a piece of art as well as a functioning light fixture. The hand-made detail in the overlapping "coin" pattern gives the light a fun place to bounce off of and shine through. The halogen bulbs are located above the lower disc shining up onto the upper disc which has a really pleasant indirect ambiance to it. It's a unique fixture!”

“I love the simplistic look of this fan! The design of the motor and blades with clean straight lines really compliments a more modern space. Using new LED technology in the light kit only adds more of a benefit to getting this energy saving fan.”

“The name says it all! The Pancake by Minka is about as flat as a pancake - great for lower ceiling heights. Its minimalistic design and different finish options makes it a great option for almost any style.”

“This is a great minimalist piece for those in search of something truly functional and beautiful with no fuss. Adjustable height, swivels 360 degrees, and the LEDs are dimmable. You can even select the light pattern display. Great for the office and almost any room in the house, even as a bedside lamp. Simple, elegant style.”

“I love the Silva because it incorporates wood with metal, which really gives it some substance. At the same time its clean contemporary lines lend it a timeless modern aesthetic. It's a very solid piece but doesn't overpower, and it looks great with a variety of decor schemes.”

“Everything to love about the original Kelvin- and then some. It has the same clean, contemporary design and sleek finish, the same touch dimming on the lamp head, and the same nice warm white color temperature. The Green edition also has a special sensor, though, which can sense how much ambient light is in the room and adjust the lamp's light output accordingly. It's smart, sexy, and energy efficient.”

“Great contemporary style, low profile and very sleek. It's an LED lamp with a nice warm color temperature and good light output. Attractively styled to blend in or stand out.”

“This fixture makes me feel like I'm at a beach house somewhere on the west coast. If wind catches the rods, they clink together making a beautiful wooden wind chime sound. It has such an organic artistic feel about it.”

“I love the color combination of this fan. The light is built into the frame so it just becomes this glowing object on your ceiling with the functionality of being a fan.”

“This fan has a nice sculptural look - it doesn't look like a typical ceiling fan so it adds a nice conversation piece to a room. I especially like the new finish they came out with - distressed koa.”

“This is the most simplistic fan in my eyes. When the fan is on, the blades rotate around the center of the ball giving it this floating effect.”

“This is a great fan for a small location. It’s powerful and pushes a lot of air but it also comes with a remote that allows you to aim the fan on a vertical aiming angle.”

“The Everest has a unique look, using a clear or platinum outer glass that houses an inner crystal piece with a more organic shape. The MR11 downlight provides a nice pool of light on the surface below the fixture, making it great for kitchen islands. The Everest Pendant is also very tall, a nice getaway from the typical small pendants you usually see.”

“The Crystal Galaxy happens to be my favorite fixture overall. This chandelier looks like a piece of jewelry hanging from your ceiling - it's certainly a conversation piece. It's made of delicately curved wires with crystals that hang from the tips like dew drops on a summer's morning. There is a halogen down light centered in the chandelier to help give more light on the surface below and a total of sixty 2 watt lamps placed behind each crystal.”

“I really like using this sconce in bathrooms or powder rooms just for it's simplicity. The halogen version of the Talo Wall Sconce uses a 150watt lamp so it provides a bright and crisp light source around the vanity area - good for general light and/or applying make-up.”

“The Muse is such a fun fixture that can really be used in just about any space - wall or ceiling mount. It's offered in several sizes and several fun colors - even a multi-color! I think the best feature of the Muse is that the fabric is removable and washable - easy to refresh! The wattage depends on the size you choose, but they have standard sockets so you can use regular incandescent lamps or compact fluorescent if you're feeling a little green.”
