Lytecaster Lytening 5 Inch Incandescent Convertible IC/Non-IC Remodeler Frame-In-Kit is made of aluminum and is suitable for use in insulated and non-insulated ceilings. Medium base socket. Can be removed for access to junction box and ceiling plenum. Meets NEC and UL requirements. Suitable for damp locations. 5 3/8 inch diameter ceiling opening. 5.25 inch width x 11.4 inch length x 7.5 inch height. Optional AirSeal kit available, sold separately. Enclosed diffuser trims 1021, 1024 and 1090, and wall wash trim 1085 for Non-IC applications only. A complete fixture consists of a reflector trim and frame-in-kit. Reflector trim sold separately. Medium base incandescent lamp type dependent on trim selected.

Lightolier is a company with a rich history of growth and innovation. Lightolier was founded in 1904, in the early days of electric lighting. By the Second World War, Lightolier had built a reputation for design leadership in decorative lighting. After the war, the company entered the architectural lighting market in a major way. In 1986, Lightolier created the first digital dimmer and entered the lighting controls market; energy controls followed in 1991. Throughout the 1990's, Lightolier has concentrated on Energy Smart lighting. Currently, Lightolier actively supports the development and adoption of good lighting.
