Splice Box is fastened to ballast and #16 ga. ballast plate to form one complete assembly locked by retaining screw to mounting frame. Complete assembly accessible from below for inspection and replacement. 4 x 3 1/2 x 2 14 ga steel junction box contains plug-in connectors for ballast assembly. May be wired-in before ballast assembly is installed. Integral cable clamps permit attachment of nonmetallic romex or armored cable without need for additional connectors. Mounting frame is electro-galvanized steel, furnished with 13 inch long mounting bars. Use open fixture (no glass guard) E and ED metal halide lamps. Lamp not included. 11.125W x 9L.

Lightolier is a company with a rich history of growth and innovation. Lightolier was founded in 1904, in the early days of electric lighting. By the Second World War, Lightolier had built a reputation for design leadership in decorative lighting. After the war, the company entered the architectural lighting market in a major way.
