IC22R 6 Inch IC Remodel Housing is an energy efficient sealed housing. IC remodel housing for remodel application where back side of ceiling is not accessible. Installs through an opening in the ceiling from below. Secured in place by factory installed remodel springs. Can be completely covered with insulation. When used with Air-Loc gasket (ALG6R), stops infiltration and ex-filtration of air, reducing heating and cooling costs. Trims shown with Air-Loc symbol do not require a gasket. One 120 volt, A19, BR30, PAR30, PAR20, R20, PAR30L or PAR38 medium base halogen/incandescent lamp or LED equivalent is required, but not included. Lamp type and wattage dependent upon housing/trim combination (see attached Juno manufacturer specification). Incandescent/halogen dimmable with a standard incandescent dimmer. Consult lamp manufacturer for dimmer compatibility when using an LED equivalent lamp. UL listed for through-branch wiring, damp locations and IP. Product thermally protected against improper use of lamps. Trims 239, 241 and 242 are wet location approved for covered ceiling applications. Trims 28 and 28 are wet location approved for covered ceiling applications when used with outdoor rated lamps. 13.75 inch length x 7.3 inch width x 7.1 inch height.
