Definitely not plastic. A thin wood veneer with an ingenious treatment to render it flexible and to protect it from breakage. A brilliant concept, that allows all the real richness of the veneer to come through when lit. We were outstanded by the lighting effect of our lamp

Wow! After 2 solid weeks of shopping around for the perfect light for our dining room, I found Lightology. This pendant is so cool, completely not what I was looking for in the first place but once I saw it I knew it was it. I wasn't disappointed
