I wanted something very simple for under my cabinet to replace the gaudy, cheap-o "Puck" LED lights I bought from Menard's ages ago. I was downtown a few months back, and as I passed by by Lightology on the way home, I thought "what the heck", and stopped in.
First I was amazed by the place. Takes a minute to take it all in. I got to speak to a sales person there who took me through some options. I was sold on trying LED tape / strip lighting, and walked out with an 8' section of strip, a "plug-in transformer", and some very well-defined knowledge and ideas about installing the system myself under my cabinet.
Back home, the hard part was uninstalling the crappy Menard's puck lights! Once that was down, I had the LED system up and running in (not kidding) under 15 minutes! It looks great, works great, and immediately added a feel of sophistication to my kitchen. Very, very happy.
Only recommendation? The metal tape that comes with the LED tape could have been a bit stickier. I really had to push hard to make it stick to the underside of my cabinet, even though I had cleaned it really well. But once that was up the LED tape stuck to the metal tape just fine.
I totally recommend this to others. Really cool system that uses almost no power to run!
