It's very different. A "vintage" lightbulb came with it, and we bought some others to go with it too. The original price was $200, but we got it on sale for $150, so we were very happy.
Glass Cylinder lamp

I originally picked this lamp for my bedside table. I just got all new bedding and drapes a couple of months ago, and I thought this would go well with the new look. Well, it didn't work as a reading lamp at all. I didn't think about the fact that having no shade meant that the light would glare and shine in my face a bit while I was trying to read. I ended up picking out a different lamp for the beddside, but I kept this one anyway. I found a home for it in the lounge room, and it actually looks even better in there.
