3 Inch Low Voltage Magnetic Non-IC Remodel Housing features an integral magnetic transformer. remodeling magnetic housing. Three half-inch knockouts provide wire entry and exit. Heavy gauge inner retention clips push out onto ceiling or other mounting surface to firmly hold housing in place. Accommodates surface thickness of up to 0.75 inches. 3.88 inch cutout hole. Non-IC rated. Insulation must be kept 3 inches away from the housing. Thermal protector supplied with HR-301M protects against overlamping. Dimmable with lov votlage dimmer, sold separately. Magnetic transformer for 12 volt, MR16 lamps of 50 watts maximum. 120 volt input transformer. UL and c/UL listed. Suitable for damp locations. A complete fixture consists of housing, trim and lamps, all sold separately. 3.69 inch opening x 6.31 inch high housing x 13.44 inch length.
