Clavius square suspension features a handmade silk thread shade with a chrome finish. Shade available in white, tobacco and black color. Available in a small, rectangular, square and 2 tier suspension option. Also available in a wall sconce, suspension, ceiling flush mount, table and floor lamp version. Four 60 or 100 watt, 120 volt, A19 medium base incandescent lamps included. General light distribution. ETL listed. Made in Italy. Available in a small and large large size. Small: 15.75 square inches x 9.88 inch height with an overall maxium height of 88.63 inches. Large. 23.63 square inches x 13.75 inch height with an overall maximum height of 92.5 inches.

This fixture is definitely a best seller! The shade is unique because it's made of a tightly wrapped silk string, whereas most fixtures are just one layer of fabric. The silk string gives it so much more dimension! I've used this fixture in many spaces, from ultra contemporary to transitional. The rectangular version of the Clavius works especially well over rectangular dining tables. It's 300 watts total, which is an added bonus! As with any high output light fixture, I recommend ordering a dimmer along with this product.
