(Chicago, IL) - Lightology, a leading designer and distributor of contemporary lighting in the United States, is pleased to announce its second exhibition, Rays of Light II. The show, June 12 through August 11, 2005, will be held in specially-designated exhibition areas at the company showroom, located at 215 West Chicago Avenue, in Chicago's River North gallery district. Participating artist: David Parker*, Ted Victoria*, Yuchiro Nichizawa, collaborators Adrian Leverkuhn* & Lisa Sipe*, as well as lighting and product designer Gregory Kay, will exhibit art works using light as an expressive medium. In addition, a one-night only site-specific outdoor installation by David Parker will take place at an outdoor designated area of Museum of Contemporary Art on August 5th.

Rays of Light II will coincide with the Dan Flavin retrospective exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago (MCA) and open the weekend of NEOCON, the world's largest trade fair for the design and management of the built environment. Following a special preview for the NEOCON guests on June 12, the exhibition will open to the public on June 13, offering visitors a rare look at a provocative and stimulating art form.

MCA members and all attendees of the MCA First Fridays' party on August 5 are invited to visit the Lightology showroom for the after-hours party and for viewing of the Rays of Light II exhibition from 9 pm till 12 am (?)
