Sir James Dyson

Sir James Dyson is a British inventor, industrial designer and founder of the Dyson company. He is best known as the inventor of the Dual Cyclone bagless vacuum cleaner, which works on the principle of cyclonic separation. His recent inventions include advancements in vacuum technology, the Airblade hand dryer and the bladeless fan.  The James Dyson foundation encourages young people to think differently, to make mistakes and to invent. The foundation was founded in 2002 to support design and engineering education, and to help solve 21st century challenges of sustainability.
