Ayno Floor Lamp

SPEC #: MDG1098776

ID: MD-55.3.24

The Ayno Floor Lamp tests the boundaries of adjustable lighting, paring down to the essentials while delivering good design, technology, and sustainability. Developed in collaboration with industrial designer Stefan Diez, it features a flexible fiberglass rod bent into an arc by the fabric-covered power cord. The cord is held taught by two adjustment rings that slide along the rod and stem to adjust the tension, pulling the arc tighter or letting it widen. By changing the rod arc and swiveling the lamp shade, light direction can be adjusted to properly illuminate your work space or reading nook. The on/off switch is on the cord.

Winner of the 2021 German Sustainability Award, this lamp has a black steel stem and base and ABS shade that are made of recycled materials and are recyclable. Resource consumption during production is extremely low due to the lamp's minimalistic construction. Its simple form makes maintenance easy and the LED head can be replaced by the user without tools, extending the lifespan of the lamp.
