When Adam Yeats and Robbie Llewellyn founded Bert Frank in 2013, they started an innovative creative partnership inspired by their admiration for engineering. United in their love of design, respect for the tradition of British metalwork and opposition to planned obsolescence, Yeats and Llewellyn wanted to create high-end products that would last.

Their efforts have culminated in nearly a decade of designing and manufacturing award-winning lighting in Birmingham, England — the home of British engineering since the Victorian era. Every Bert Frank lamp is crafted by highly skilled machinists and experienced fabricators at a metalworking factory shared by sister brand J. Adams & Co. Bert Frank produces their collections in small quantities and often in line with specific requests. They’re as close to bespoke as you can get.
