Space Tour: Mastermind Sports

The warehouse style facility started with a full gut rehab, allowing the Mastermind design team and Lightology lighting expert, Chelle Van Wassenhove, to plan the lighting from scratch. The chevron lighting was the interior designer's dream, and Chelle knew just how to bring it to life - with PureEdge Lighting. Known for their forward-thinking light systems, PureEdge Lighting offers a wide variety of suspensions in all shapes and sizes, able to be customized and scaled as needed. In this case, Chelle used the Cirrus R1 as the starting point, and from there, the PureEdge team crafted fully lit chevron arrows at the size and scale needed to light the space. Before installation, Lightology created a virtual rendering (above), so the Mastermind team could make sure their vision was on track.

Every space needs layers of light, and that's where WAC's Beamshift track lighting came into play. To not compete with the chevron fixtures, the track lighting was done in black to blend with the dark, open ceilings. And the Beamshift head was chosen, due to its powerful lumen output. With track heads so high up, a powerful track head is needed to ensure proper lighting reaches the ground below. The final cherry on top, is the Cirrus Pix Sticks above the front desk. Each lighting component blends perfectly, emphasizing the futuristic environment Mastermind Sports is known for.
