Founded in 2012, Nanoleaf was developed by three adventure-seeking, life-living dream chasers who wanted to impact the world in a big way. The three founders of Nanoleaf came together while building a solar-powered car for the University of Toronto's Wold Solar Challenge. Reuniting three years later, the three launched a Kickstarter (2012). Ushering in a new era of beautifully personalized lighting, Nanoleaf lighting embodies their philosophy, "Smarter by Design."
