The Modular 556 Floor Lamp is based on the articulating lamp design invented by Curt Fischer in the 1920s. Featuring an adjustable shade and jointed stem, it provides illumination that can be directed precisely onto work surfaces or reading areas. The shade is also asymmetrical and rotatable for blocking direct light from the user's eyes.

Honoring the materials and processes used in decades past, the shade is crafted out of spun aluminum, and its on/off turn knob is made of Bakelite. The steel stem and base, along with the shade, are powder-coated in black or white for a durable finish. All parts are made in Germany and hand-assembled in Hamburg. The Modular is the perfect choice for bringing function and style to your space.
