The Tanso Lounge Chair is suitable for both outdoor and indoor use, with durable teak wood construction to withstand the elements and an elegant aesthetic that would feel at home indoors as well. Tanso's refined lines are inspired by the simplicity of Japanese furniture, and it will surely elevate any outdoor space with understated grace. Comfortable seat and back cushions are upholstered in a weather-resistant outdoor fabric to provide a relaxed spot for alfresco lounging.

Teak is a natural material that will gradually patina from a golden color to a silver-grey as it is exposed to weather and sunlight. Regular cleanings with warm water and mild detergent will help to retain the original golden color. Assembly Required.

        David Irwin (b. 1986) was born in Northern Ireland and moved to Newcastle Upon Tyne, England to pursue a degree in Three-Dimensional Design at Northumbria University. After graduating in 2007, he completed a fellowship through Northumbria's Designers in Residence Programme in 2010 and founded his own Newcastle-based studio in 2011.

        Irwin has worked in the fields of furniture, lighting, accessories, and textile design, and his works have garnered international recognition and awards. His approach to design is characterized by simplicity and functionality with an emphasis on enriching our daily lives. By taking a holistic approach that considers sustainable materials and production processes, Irwin creates innovative and refined solutions that will impress for years to come.
