4IN New Construction Housing 12V - Discontinued Model

R4-499AT 4 inch Non-IC Airtight New Construction Housing is designed for use in 12V low voltage applications. Non-IC designation requires that housing be a minimum of 3 inches away from insulation. Airtight feature prevents airflow between attic and living areas. Accomodates one 12 volt, GU5.3 MR16 halogen up to 50 watts (or LED equivalent), sold separately. Supplied with a low voltage magnetic transformer. Halogen dimmable with a low voltage magnetic dimmer. See LED bulb manufacturer for dimmer compatibility with a magnetic transformer when using LED equivalent. Ceiling cut out 4.25 inch. A complete fixture requires a housing and trim, sold separately.
