    About Piero Castiglioni & Roberto Menghi

    Piero Castiglioni and Roberto Menghi are two Italian designers who have collaborated on a number of projects, including the Canna Nuda Collection for Nemo. Piero Castiglioni (1923-2002) was the son of Italian architect and designer Livio Castiglioni. He studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and began his design career in the 1950s. Castiglioni is known for his minimalist and functional design approach, often incorporating innovative materials and technologies. Roberto Menghi (born 1955) is an Italian architect and designer. He studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and began his design career in the 1980s. Menghi is known for his work in the fields of lighting, furniture, and product design. The Canna Nuda Collection is a collaboration between Castiglioni's experience and Menghi's fresh perspective. The collection explores the concept of light diffusion through various forms and functionalities. The designs are simple and elegant, yet versatile and functional. They are suitable for a variety of applications, including residential and commercial spaces.
