AJ 50 Outdoor Wall Light designed by Arne Jacobsen, is based on geometric shapes - a cylinder, the socket and a cone, the shade. The fixture emits downward directed light. The shade is painted white on the inside to ensure a soft comfortable light distribution. Available in White, natural paint Aluminum, and Black finishes. Phase dimming.

Born and raised in Copenhagen, Arne Jacobsen graduated as an architect from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1927. Upon graduatingm he landed his first job at the office of the City Architect of Sopenhagen and soon launching his own office two years later. A world famous architect, his buildings are all throughout Denmark, Germany and the United Kingdom. His most famous projects include, National Bank in Copenhagen (1971), SAS Royal Hotel & Terminal, Copenhagen (1960), and St. Catherine's College in Oxford, UK (1963). Over the years he ventured into various fields related to his work, such as light fixtures, furniture, cutlery, door handles, sanitary fixtures, fabrics, and wallpaper patterns. "The Egg" and "The Swan" are two famous chairs designed by Jacobsen.
