Great fan

I had this fan installed in the loft area which is where my grands play. They would always leave the light on and id have to go upstairs to turn it off (my knees don't do stairs well). I downloaded the hinkley app so when they leave the light on I can turn it off using my phone! Such a plus! The fan and remote are both great also!

I am very satisfied with the Hover Flush 52 LED Smart Fan. I was tired of fans that wobble pull chains that break and light bulb changes that require an airplane mechanic's skill. This product solves all of those problems! I love that this fan won't wobble due to the sturdy flush-mount motor housing. I love that all of the controls are on a wireless remote that is wall-mounted. I love that it is very quiet even at high fan speed. It moves a lot of air but you can also dial it down to very low speeds. I also love that you can reverse the spin direction seasonally with just one button on the control. The remote control is easily installed on the wall and is held in place with a magnet giving you the flexibility to remove it (if you're not afraid of losing it...). Some reviewers found the beep sound annoying but it's not very loud and didn't bother me at all. It only beeps when you turn the fan or light off/on or reach the top/low fan speed and light setting. There are supposed to be multiple settings for light brightness and fan speed but it's not clear what level you are on (there are no indicators) - you just eyeball it. The light is ok but I wouldn't count on it to illuminate a room - you need other layers of light sources. It took our handyman about an hour and a half to remove our old fan and install this one and he didn't have any trouble. One recommendation after installation: power off and go through the pairing process. The control appeared to be automatically paired initially but the response was spotty until we powered off and went through the pairing process. I highly recommend this product. I selected the matte black with koa blade finish for our great room and it looks sleek and blends well with my transitional/mid-century style.

A fine fan. Works great looks awesome. Three stars for the Integrated LED that you can't change (no matter what stated lifetime they have) is not great. Also it beeps when you turn off/on. Unnecessary and annoying.

I bought 2 of these for my patio because they are so beautiful and modern looking. However I needed a lot of wind force for our hot Texas summers and they don't even come close. I can barely feel these when on high. I called the company and they said we needed two remotes so we bought a second remote and paid an electrician to come install it. We paid for the second remote and the electrician and it made NO difference. Beautiful fan...just be aware it doesn't put out much breeze.

Absolutely love this fan. I searched for 3 years to find the perfect coastal fan with driftwood looking blades and couldn't be happier!! After installing the original purchase I ordered 2 more of them for other rooms in 52. The only negative is the instructions are a tad vague as mentioned by others and the MOST IMPORTANT step of pairing the fan with the wall switch should be highlighted in bold letters. Besides that the install was easy for two senior citizens! Love these fans!!

I have worked in this business for over 20 years and purchased this for my own home. This fan is so quiet! The light has a warm dim feature which is tops! And the ease of use on the downloaded app or wall/remote that comes with it is great! Installed by my husband. They have a special feature which allows you to hook the motor on the box while making electrical connections which made the install a breeze (pun intended). Nicely thought out design with controller on wall or by smartphone app. Installation was tricky where instructions didn't match actual wiring and ceiling collar installation instructions were out of order so we had to break the collar to get on instead of removing everything and starting over.

The fan is really nice. It's extremely quiet and I love the 6 speeds for the fan. The Dual wall - remote to control the fan is nice and compact and the app is easy and straightforward. Only thing stopping from a 5 rating was that the wrong screw cover ring was included in the package and I had to wait a week until I could finalize installation.

This product is suitable for outdoor use however I installed it in my game room. The room has a low ceiling so a flush mount was perfect. The fan looks great in my chosen location but I would have preferred the blades to have been real wood. The installation instructions could have been more comprehensive. Having some experience with ceiling fan installations was helpful.

I like the fan and light however it was a real pain to get the fan and the remote synced together. By trail and many failures we found out there is a 10 second window to pair the fan and the remote. We did not find anything in the instructions or manual telling us this. Not being a professional installer I did not realize this was standard. I would have been very angry to have to send it all back after the pain it was to mount the correct brackets to hold the fan through such a small hole in the ceiling. It was very very discouraging to see the fan not working after 3 hours of installation all because the remote (the only way to to control the fan) was not pairing. We finally got the remote to pair and everything is rainbows and sunshine for my wife in regard to the fan.

It is in my great room. Style exactly what i was looking for contemporary and with wood. Have a southern exposure and the multiple speeds is great as lkithcen part of grest room. Only complaint I have is that no wireless remote.

Loved the look and features but the motor developed a light inconsistent knocking noise soon after installation. It wasn't loud but irritating in our bedroom. Disassembled and reassembled with no luck. Customer service was decent and sent a replacement but it has the same issue. Disappointing for a bedroom fan - will be looking elsewhere.

Purchased 3 of these fans. Loved the sleek simplicity of them and it took me 4 1/2yrs to find the fans I love! After installing them 1 had a clicking noise did all the trouble shooting called customer service and they asked us to send a video. Had a new fan in less than a week. All fans work great and no noise. We definitely recommend this company for a great product and excellent customer service.

The fan and light are perfect and the esthetics work well with my room. The reason for 3 stars is that there's a beeping noise each time you turn the fan or light on/off. When I called the company they told me that there's no way to turn off the beep - I wouldn't buy it again because of this.

Installed 3 throughout the house. Easy install. Fans are well balanced and quiet. Blades are quality composite. My only complaint is the paint finish on the motor housing is a bit too fragile and the top plastic trim piece is poor fitting and makes the housing look cheap. One of the fans has a few minor scratches despite an uneventful install on account of the fragile that paint finish. For the money I would expect better like I got with my Minke Aire.

I like the look & it is quiet. But for the first week it had a knocking sound. As per product info it went away after a while. Don't like the remote control. It hard to tell what Dan speed it is and response is delayed when you change functions.

We have this fan installed in our retractable louvered pergola. The fan is lovely and works well. We live in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada where the summer weather is nice and warm but our winter weather can be extreme cold. We wish there were instructions on how to winterize the fan. Snow and cold is very different than rain (which was mentioned). If you could share your thoughts on winterizing this fan we would greatly appreciate it Material states composite - what does that mean to us? What weight can the blades hold of snow load? Also We love the light - very nice...

Fan is very quiet. There is a loud and annoying 'beep' every time you turn the light or fan on or off. Wish you could silence that. Also the light flickers badly so cannot use that until I get a replacement part installed. I worry about the quality control out of the factory as a result.
