While creating the Mantis Desk, designer Samuel Wilkinson envisioned a desk with a clean, minimal aesthetic that would fit in a compact home environment. Mantis features a solid wood tabletop supported by powder-coated steel legs and accented by removeable functional accessories, including a small drawer, a storage tray for cables, and a steel back panel. Use Mantis in a home office, or place a pair back to back in an open office space.

About Samuel Wilkinson
Samuel Wilkinson graduated in furniture and related product design at Ravensbourne College of Art & Design in 2002. While at Ravensbourne Wilkinson won several design awards, including the RSA award and the D&AD New Blood. He went straight into employment working for leading consultancies such as Tangerine, Fitch: London, PearsonLloyd, and Conran. During these years he worked on various award winning projects for leading clients such as British Airways, Audi, LG, Samsung, and Virgin Airways. Samuel Wilkinson set up his industrial design studio in 2008.
