Designed by the award-winning Enzo Eusebi and Partners, Harena is more than just a restaurant. It's also home to an academy for professional chefs, a wine cellar and an American bar/bistro featuring a "library lounge". The designers updated the building's existing structures, repurposing as many elements of the original space as possible.

A reinvented facade made of light steel bathes the former cinema in natural light, allowing for ventilation that reduces the need for air conditioning. Lush greenery from floor to ceiling gives an almost greenhouse effect. The space also makes interesting pop culture references, including a bar reminiscent of the memorable Overlook Hotel Bar from Stanley Kubrick's psychological horror film, The Shining.

In keeping with Harena's commitment to sustainability, the space features lighting from Artemide's NH Collection, including the NH Suspension and NH Floor Lamps. These use a low-consumption retrofit LED light source and eco-friendly packaging. Featuring a white sphere, brushed brass ring and black arm, the materials perfectly combine tradition and innovation in a property rich with both.
