Motivated by the idea of a home with gorgeous views of the mountains and the iconic Hollywood sign, And And And Studio founders Annie Ritz and Daniel Rabin bought the mid-century modern dwelling sight unseen. The two lovingly renovated the entire home, incorporating updated moments inside and out while carefully restoring original elements like the natural oak floors, timber ceilings and working brick fireplace.

Warm and cozy, the interior of the home features some of the owners' favorite furniture and fixtures originally intended for other projects - like the gorgeous Italian marble kitchen island, the focal point of this warm, open plan space. The designer duo also imagined a beautiful bespoke oak bed for their primary room. Custom artwork graces the walls, elevating the uniquely organic feel of this space. And exceptional lighting from Lightology provides gentle illumination throughout the property while complementing the design aesthetic of each room.

Annie Ritz brought an absolute favorite into her home: Mario Bellini's legendary Chiara Floor Lamp for Flos, a timeless icon from 1969. Sculptural and beautifully textured, the Tekio Horizontal Pendant from Santa & Cole floats above a custom terrazzo table in the dining area. A modern twist on the mid-century sputnik lamp, the Modo Pendant creates fascinating contrast with surrounding artwork.
Impeccably styled and effortlessly elegant, this Laurel Canyon home is a masterclass in thoughtful restoration, intentional design and expertly curated lighting.
