Space Tour: Foxcroft Estate

California-based stylist and interior designer Emily Vallely-Pertzborn worked with husband Brandon and his extended family to restore his grandparents' home, built in 1948. She named the property Foxcroft Estate as a nod to her two main design inspirations, early 20th century designers Bunny Mellon and Sister Parish, who both attended Foxcroft School. The extensive renovations and exquisite styling reflect Vallely-Pertzborn's cottagecore meets coastal grandmother meets grand millennial aesthetic.

With a pool and four acres of open land, this home is an ideal location for events, family getaways or group vacations. Updated to provide modern comforts while retaining the style of its original era, new furnishings and fixtures coexist authentically and effortlessly among vintage elements.

In the Chinoiserie room inspired by one of the couple's favorite LA restaurants, the Bahama Table Lamps by Adesso Corp. pair perfectly with retro furniture and artwork. Once a closet, a vermilion reading nook showcases a sculptural mid-century piece once owned by the designer's parents with Orb Surface Mount Wall Sconces on either side. From the cheerful bridal suite to the Tiki bar and 1970s-themed game room, each memory-filled space is ready to create new ones.
