Skogstad & Waernes

Skogstad & Waernes is an Oslo-based design studio founded by the Norwegian designers Petter Skogstad and Fredrik Waernes. Skogstad and Waernes met while studying product design at Oslo Metropolitan University, and after working for Anderssen & Voll, Andreas Engesvik, and Snohetta, they began their own studio in 2020.

Skogstad & Waernes studio applies the experience and expertise of its founders to a wide variety of projects with a particular focus on lighting, product, and furniture design. Their approach to design is thoughtful and honest in order to manage the complex process of creating new products.
