Ella Shegai

Ella Shegai was born in Siberia and graduated from Paris X Nanterre University with a MA in Arts. She then relocated to Norway where she studied design at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design and founded Ella Shegai Studio.

Shegai draws upon her background in art history to implement cross-cultural styles and references within the context of product design. Her work is marked by a playful approach that explores the versatility of shapes and textures.
