Marti Guixe

Marti Guixe was trained in Barcelona and Milan as an industrial and interior designer. Work by Guixe is characterized by the search for new product systems, the introduction of design in the field of food, and presentation through performance. His unconventional vision provides insights of brilliant simplicity and curious seriousness.

Based in Barcelona and Berlin, Guixe designs for iconic companies such as Alessi, Authentics, Camper, Cha-cha, Corraini, Danese, Dentsu, Desigual, Droog Design, Drill, Galeria H2O Barcelona, Imaginarium, Magis, Moleskine, Nani Marquina, Saporiti Italia.

Guixe has exhibited at: MoMA (New York), MuDAC (Lausanne), MACBA (Barcelona) and Centre Pompidou (Paris). Ciutat de Barcelna Award 1999, and National Design Award of the Generalitat de Catalunya 2007.
