Loft & Thought

Loft & Thought is the design practice of artist and vintage curator Carmen Nash. Nash's design perspective is influenced by her spirituality and heritage as a Black artist from the South. Her designs are often inspired by folk art, storytelling, and the role stories play in connecting us to the objects we love. As a vintage dealer, interior stylist, and artist, she has mastered the art of the "mix," seamlessly blending materials, styles, and textures to create visually stunning compositions. Describing herself as a visual poet, Nash infuses her work with a sense of artful flair. Nash's pieces are full of rhythm, patterns, and textures that feel warm and inviting. Her use of ceramics and natural fibers adds charm and playfulness to her collection.
