Servomuto

A passion for interior design brought together the designers Alessandro Poli and Francesca De Giorgi in 2007. Their respective backgrounds in Graphic Design and Architecture created the perfect synergy for pushing the boundaries on classic, minimal Italian lighting design. The main idea at Servomuto is to put together handmade lampshades in the most classic of their shapes with printed and unusual fabrics creating a new and unique mix. The result maintains the original and romantic mood but transforms it with contemporary contents. Francesca and Alessandro mix poetic images, elaborate a rare object giving it a new life.
