Ivy league educated at Brown University, Hampton graduated with honors and continued her academic pursuit at the prestigious New York University's The Institute of Fine Arts. Working under her legendary father, Mark Hampton, Alexa cut her design teeth as an apprentice and worked her way up to the top.

Along the way, Hampton gained notable accolades from the design world's most renowned publications. Including write-ups in Architectural Digest, being named in the "100 Best Architects and Designers by New York Magazine, and recognized by Cosmopolitan Magazine as one of the twelve "Fun, Fearless Females."
