Francois Champsaur

Franois Champsaur is a French interior designer. Born in Marseille, Franois Champsaur's work is influenced by his Mediterranean roots. He decided very early on to study at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts before joining the Ecole nationale des Arts Dcoratifs (ENSAD) and in 1996, starting up his own interior design company. From his earliest projects, Franois has displayed his ability to transform any space, considering each and every aspect from an architectural angle to the last detail. He intelligently reworks space, playing with light and volume, and completes the set with both elegant and contemporary furniture and fabrics.

One of Franois's approaches goes through two parallel activities : interior design and structural design. He has transformed luxury hotels (such as The Royal Evian and the Vernet Htel in Paris) and private homes using his own unique vision. He always develops a new project in line with the spirit of the space and creates furniture and lights consistent with the global design.

His interest in furniture, clean lines, rhythm and harmony have led him to collaborate with many French and international interior design companies, such as Pouenat Ferronnier and HC28. He's worked on linen and carpet collections for prestigious French luxury brands such as Toulemonde Bochart.

His creations echo the history and specifics of each manufacturer. With both vision and discretion Franois Champsaur steps back, allowing the space to become a living creation.
