Lillian August

Lillian began her career in the 1980s with a collection of handcrafted quilts in fabrics of her own design. After expanding her business to home textiles and wall coverings in New York, she opened several storefronts in Connecticut. She and her company soon earned a reputation as a compelling resource for designers, homeowners and design enthusiasts, offering furniture, rugs, antiques and accessories. Today, August serves as director of licensed designs for the Lillian August brand and operates numerous retail locations and designs for several collections of furniture, textiles and accessories.
