Drawing their name from the immortal bow tie, the ultimate symbol of class and sophistication, the idea for Tie Stix first sparked from an earlier PureEdge fixture - the Cirrus Channel. “It was a natural design progression to go from the Cirrus Channel to Tie Stix,” says Greg Kay. “The wood gives a warmer feeling than you typically see in a contemporary fixture.”

Ranging from 36 to 120 inches, with 8 different color temperature options and countless wood and metal finish options including Satin Nickel, Antique Bronze, Walnut, Cherry, and Maple, it’s easy to build a suspension that’s just right for your space. “The woods we chose were those that most speak to me. I have maple and walnut floors in my home, cherry floors in my office,” Kay says, though he adds that the Tie Stix can be made with any wood with six weeks lead time. “Everybody is designing their own space and that’s special to each person.
