Designed by Andres Reisinger & Julia EsqueRead Bio
The welcoming, organic form of the Hortensia Armchair was inspired by the unfurling petals of a flower in bloom. Its gentle curves create a serene, visually-pleasing aesthetic, which is matched by the comfortable feel of Hortensia's ergonomic shape and upholstered foam seat. The chair's shape is complemented by its unique, petal-like upholstery, which gives Hortensia a truly floral appearance.

About Andres Reisinger & Julia Esque
Andres Reisinger (b. Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1990) & Julia Esque (b. Barcelona, Spain, 1986) have joined together as a team to blend their varied skillsets and produce exciting new designs. Having been recognized in Architectural Digest's AD100 and Forbes' 30 Under 30 (Arts and Style), Reisinger is one of the world's foremost digital artists. His digital works often depict surrealist objects, otherworldly landscapes, and an experimental use of textures.
A focus on texture is also key to Esque's work, which exists at the intersection of product, fashion, and textile design. Although her projects span a wide range of fields, her process is rooted in the experience of researching and working hands-on with a variety of materials.
