Originally designed by Czech artist Vladislav Urban in the 1960s, Lasvit has reintroduced the timeless Papilla Vase for the modern age. The Papilla Vase received its name from the Latin word papillae, meaning nipples, for the small protrusions on each side of the vase. These small accents add a delicate touch to the thick body of the vase, which is handblown from golden-brown stained glass and finished with a pastel blue glaze.
