      About Jonas Forsman

      Jonas Forsman was born in 1979 in Smaland, a region of Sweden famous for furniture production. After obtaining a Master's Degree in Industrial Design Engineering at Chalmers University in Gothenburg, he would go on to found his own design studio, also located in Gothenburg.

      Forsman's design philosophy is centered around reducing a product to its essential elements and devising new approaches to fulfill the object's core functions. His designs have won multiple awards, including two Red Dot award (2006, 2012) and a Design S award (2010).
