Duin acquired her firm, GB Design, Inc. after her mother's retirement. Her design studio, situated above the Maison Maison showroom, is where she creates individual styles that are an expression of her clients' lives and interests.Duin's residential practice and showroom are known for their distinct combinations of hand-selected European antiques from her travels abroad and clever reinventions of peculiar objects. The fondness she possesses for past centuries craftsmanship leads her to recreate and design matchless pieces with sensible, yet rich details.

Originally founded in 1988 as a purveyor of historic garden furnishings, Atlanta-based Currey & Company is known today for its stunning and diverse array of lighting products.
