The Marlow Drop Leaf Table is an extendable dining table with clean, elegant lines and superb craftsmanship. When the leaves are extended, the table can seat up to 8 people. When the leaves are folded down, the legs slide inward and lock in place to function as a smaller table.

About Matthew Hilton
Matthew Hilton (b. 1957) was interested in painting, sculpture, and architecture from an early age, and began studying design Furniture and Design at England's Kingston Polytechnic after a suggestion from a tutor. After graduation, he worked as an industrial designer and model maker before starting his own studio and workshop in 1984.
Hilton gained international attention for his Balzac Armchair (1991), a bold, contemporary take on classic club chairs. However, over time his designs have taken on a less stylized, more functional approach. Hilton views the design process as the evolution of an object through time, and his designs often incorporate long established furniture forms with a futuristic twist.
