The Arumi Pendant features a petite die cast aluminium dome shade processed on the outside by manual sanding to create an interesting matte effect, while the inside is hand-polished and liquid coated with transparent varnish to enhance light reflection. Dimmable via TRIAC dimming.

An Italian designer, Paolo De Lucchi was born in Padova and graduated with a degree in architecture from Milan Polytechnic College. Starting his career in 1988, De Lucchi had a table design of his on display at the Triennal of Milan, a prestigious design museum. Between 1989 and 1993 he worked on with the studio Sottsass Associati on architectural and industrial design projects. He continued his work on architectural products when he started working with the studio Michele De Lucchi in Milan. In 1998 he opened his own studio in his hometown of Padova and works there to this day. He also teaches Industrial Design at the Universita del Progetto of Reggio Emilia.
