The Wind Outdoor Pendant unites technology and tradition to create a piece perfect for a variety of exterior spaces. The glass fiber material of the drum shade is produced industrially by means of innovative use of filament winding technology. Available in Brown or Ocre Red finishes. Canopy: 10.75 inch diameter. Jordi Vilardell studied Industrial Design at Escola Superior de Disseny i d'Art Llotja. In 1983 he began his professional career in the field of lighting when he joined a lighting company as designer.
Since 1998 he has his own studio in Barcelona, where he diversifies his activity with some works for other industrial sectors, but he maintains his specialty in lighting projects both decorative and technical.
Jordi Vilardell is a close collaborator with Vibia which can be easily discerned from the collections he has conceived for the brand such as the Balance floor lamps, the Join table lamps, the Puck wall and hanging lamps, the Slim ceiling lights, the Puck Wall Art wall lamps and the Wind exterior lights. A wide range of lighting products for all types of living spaces and decors but which nonetheless share something in common: pure clean lines and elegant design.
