Our 2025 showroom event season celebrated creativity, community and craftsmanship in a series of gatherings that welcomed some of the industry's top brands.
From Nordic minimalism and Spanish expressionism to Italian icons, every occasion at the Lightology showroom explored the dialogue between lighting innovation and design excellence.

We kicked off the 2025 season with A Toast to Design, welcoming guests from NeoCon, the world's most influential event for the commercial interior design industry. The evening unveiled a curated showcase of pieces from Louis Poulsen and Audo Copenhagen, brought to life through innovative WiZ lighting technology and tunable white TruColor by PureEdge Lighting.
The quiet elegance of Scandinavian design glows in this elevated space, demonstrating how smart lighting and advanced tunable white solutions can shape atmosphere, highlight materials, and enhance the overall experience.

Visionary Voices: A Showcase of Spanish Design brought energy, emotion and excellence to the showroom on a beautiful September night. Featuring standout collections from Marset, Santa & Cole, Bover and a-emotional light, the evening celebrated how Spanish designers balance tradition and innovation to craft expressive, tactile lighting.

Later that month, we unveiled the FLOS Design Space, Chicago's only shop-in-shop dedicated to this iconic Italian lighting company. The immersive, modular installation showcases some of the brand's most legendary lamps along with their latest innovations - such as SuperWire, exclusively on display at Lightology in Chicago.
This curated collection captures the brand's signature balance of form and function while honoring the timeless modernism of historic icons, like the Snoopy and Taccia Lamps, both dating back to the 1960s.

We wrapped the season with An Evening with Mick De Giulio, hosted in partnership with Visual Comfort & Co. Abigail Sorensen's CEU presentation, "Beyond Visibility", was followed by a design talk by Mick De Giulio. He shared his new book, "Kitchen", and explained his approach to full-home design - from curated materials and purposeful lighting to focusing on the special elements that bring spaces to life.
Guests gathered on the rooftop to continue the conversation over cocktails and Chicago-inspired bites. All in all, it was an inspiring finish to a year defined by creativity and connection.
