Carlo Forcolini

Born in Como, Italy in 1947, Carlo Forcolini earned his diploma at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan in 1969. He has worked as a designer and entrepreneur, helping to found Alias and Nemo, where he served as Managing Director and Art Director.

He has designed furniture, lamps, and other objects for Nemo and other manufacturers. His work is included in the collections in the Copper Hewitt Museum in New York, the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, and the Historical Collection of Italian Design at the Milan Triennale.

Forcolini has conducted seminars at various universities, including the prestigious Graham Foundation in Chicago. In 2001, he was elected President of ADI, the Italian Association for Industrial Design. He currently lives and works in Milan.
