A series of hollowed polygons, branching out into a modular system of interconnected configurations - the Welles Series by Montreal-based Gabriel Scott is like a piece of jewelry, dangling in mid-air. Available in metal, glass and ceramic - along with a variety of finishes, including satin brass, copper, nickel, bronze and black steel - Welles can be constructed to match the color, material and size your project needs.

Designer Scott Richler draws inspiration from his background in jewelry, to create a structure that can expand to endless lengths without feeling too repetitive. Hang it vertically, horizontally, or create your own unique cluster and shape. Mix and match materials for a truly unique interpretation, where light can interplay between soft diffused materials and shiny metals.

Welles Reimagined

Putting customization into practice, Gabriel Scott partnered with six top artists, allowing them to create a custom Welles fixture from their wildest imagination. Alessandro Munge crafted an 18-arm chandelier with smokey glass. David Rockwell built a grape-like structure with multi-colored shades. Guan Lee designed a light-infused wall with POLiROCK. Kelly Hoppen constructed an endless linear suspension with honed white clay. Michelle Gerson crafted a suspension of Welles on branches, surrounded by falling metal leaves, and Sybille de Margerie made a molecular cluster with metal grids and leather shades.

In the end, the Welles series proved to be as versatile and capable as your imagination.
